Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take cars to service stall once a repair order is received.
• Perform work up to factory and dealership standards, working with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform accurate diagnoses of malfunctions and repair malfunctions as authorized.
• Show good interpersonal communication skills with the Parts Department to obtain parts.
• Identify, tag, and save parts under warranty or as requested by the customer and turn them in.
• Communicate any changes in service with the service advisor, e.g., more work is needed, repairs can’t be completed in the given time, or work assigned is unnecessary.
• Document all work and road-test vehicles to ensure the problem is resolved.
• Quality check your work.
• Attend training and stay up-to-date with factory technician bulletins.
• Keep the customers’ vehicles clean.
• Understand, follow, and administer safety and housekeeping policies and procedures and any federal, state, and local regulations regarding service and repair.
