Off-roading is in our roots at Thompsons Toyota. With the famous Rubicon trail only a stone's throw away from us in Placerville, it's easy to see the influence of the Rubicon here in our area with many local off-road and rock-crawling enthusiasts. To be simple, it's what makes us us. As Austin Powers would say, it's a part of our mojo.
We've specialized in 4Runner, Tacoma, and Tundra sales for several decades, and commonly perform off-road prep to many of our customers including installation of leveling kits and aggressive all-terrain tires. We usually always have a lifted and kitted new truck for sale even.
To expand on our heritage and the love for off-roading in El Dorado County, we have a new, special off-road course to demonstrate the prowess of our new and used Toyotas and also teach you the basics of 4-wheel drive. It's a unique way to experience and enjoy the thrills and fun of off-roading in a safe and controlled environment.
