My sales rep was Chuck Kuperferman and he was a huge reason I purchased a new vehicle. His knowledge of the products he represents is uncommon. He was able to answer all of my questions including some that were rather technical. He also offered insights into the vehicles that never occured to me. I also appreciated his candor when I asked him questions about pricing and the potential deal that I was considering. This is the second time I have driven up to Placerville from southern CA to purchase a vehicle from Thompson's. The first time I bought a new 03 Wrangler that I still have. I liked how I was treated the first time and I feel that I was treated fairly this time as well.This is my first Toyota and if all goes well I would gladly make the trip up and purchase another.

“The last time I purchased a car from a dealer was in 1985 when I bought a brand new Celica in Placerville. For the past 26 years, I have purchased three cars from either private parties or Carmax, because of the bad experiences I had at all three Sacramento Toyota dealers (Roseville, Folsom, Maita). When I called Cooper about the truck that was on Thompsons Toyota's website, I thought he sounded "nice," "down-to-earth," and "kinda funny." The service that we have received at Thompson's Toyota is outstanding. We were visiting Placerville while looking for a place to retire when we had a problem with our '96 4-Runner. Your dealership not only fixed the problem, they found and corrected an underlying problem that the Toyota dealership in our then hometown was unable to identify and correct in numerous attempts. That same dealership on other occasions, had failed to complete maintenance that had been requested; left enough tools adrift in my car's engine compartment that I could have filled a tool box and ultimately cost me an engine because of shoddy maintenance practices. Though I was impressed with your dealership's performance in that first visit, I was still wary after my experience in Ridgecrest. Since that time, your organization has worked on three different Toyota vehicles for me. The work has been uniformly outstanding. The service department staff is always courteous and helpful and the work is completed in a timely manner.
